Profile

Practical, strategic and compassionate legal advice in complex and highly sensitive Wills.

Alison brings more than 20 years of legal experience to her practice at Kelledy Jones Lawyers, having been admitted to practice in South Australia in 2005. She has developed a strong reputation for providing practical, strategic and compassionate legal advice in complex and often highly sensitive Wills, Estates and Elder Law matters.

Her practice encompasses Wills and estate planning, deceased estates, estate disputes, inheritance claims, complex probate applications and challenges to Wills under the Succession Act 2023 (SA). Alison has particular experience in matters involving disputed estates and claims where careful negotiation, strategic advice and strong advocacy are required to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.

Alison also has extensive experience representing clients before the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT), particularly in matters concerning Guardianship and Administration Orders involving vulnerable adults and elderly persons. She understands the often-difficult family, financial and personal circumstances underlying these matters and approaches each case with empathy, clarity and sound legal judgment.

Prior to joining Kelledy Jones Lawyers, Alison held senior leadership positions within the legal profession, including as a Partner of a leading Adelaide Wills and Estates firm. This experience has given her a sophisticated understanding of complex estate matters, together with the ability to provide commercially focused advice while remaining attuned to the personal circumstances of her clients.

A skilled negotiator and advocate, Alison is committed to resolving disputes efficiently and constructively wherever possible. Where litigation is necessary, she brings substantial experience and determination to court proceedings, ensuring her clients are represented with confidence and professionalism.

Alison also accepts briefs from other solicitors to act as a Court-appointed Litigation Guardian or Administrator of estates in the Supreme Court of South Australia.
