Brian is a dedicated and passionate advocate, intent on achieving the best results for his clients, and famous for his big smile and steady stream of jokes.
He moved to Australia in 2007 on a scholarship to study a double degree in Law and International Studies at the University of Adelaide, graduated in 2011 and has been delivering results for clients ever since.
Prior to joining Kelledy Jones, Brian worked for the ACT Director of Public Prosecutions, the Aboriginal Legal Service NSW/ACT and the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement (SA). He was part of a team that helped establish Australia’s Supreme Drug Court in the ACT.
With eight years as both a prosecutor and defence lawyer behind him, Brian brings extensive litigation experience in complex, multi-jurisdictional court matters to Kelledy Jones. He has appeared at all levels of court litigation in SA, NSW and ACT, including the Supreme Court and the Court of Criminal Appeal.
Since joining the Kelledy Jones team, Brian has focused on providing advocacy and representation to clients and often represents government clients in court. He has excelled in his short time with Kelledy Jones, having had multiple trial successes and forming meaningful relationships with council staff.
Brian is quick to establish rapport with his clients, and his experience allows him to develop effective case plans quickly and efficiently.
Outside of work, he’s a dedicated family man and loves spending time with his wife and two boys.
