Dallis’ bright personality and infectious sense of humour immediately puts people at ease and allows her to develop strong working relationships.
Prior to joining Kelledy Jones, Dallis worked in governance roles within local government for eight years, firstly in Queensland and then in South Australia.
After completing a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Australian National University, Dallis was admitted to practise as a lawyer in Victoria and received mutual recognition in South Australia in December 2019.
Dallis’ move to Kelledy Jones in January 2020 was the ideal opportunity to transition from local government administration to local government law, allowing her to continue to support the sector that she loves.
Dallis has a first-hand understanding of the practicalities of working within a council and balancing the law against the logistics of local government.
Dallis works within Kelledy Jones’ governance and commercial areas. She assists with the provision of legislative compliance advice, property and business transactions and the preparation of commercial leases and licences.
She is grounded in her approach and develops efficient and practical solutions for clients, allowing them to work with the law rather than against it.
Originally hailing from a cattle station in North Queensland, Dallis is obsessed with horses, brahman cattle and dogs of all shapes and sizes. She is also quite fond of her husband and their two rambunctious bush kids.
