As a child, Tyler loved reading, writing and negotiating an extra half hour at bedtime, so a career in the law always seemed a natural fit. She specialises in planning law and has in-depth understanding of the planning challenges faced by her local government clients.
Tyler has since expanded her knowledge and practice areas to the fields of governance and environment law. This has recently seen her working alongside Natasha on a variety of complex matters, which notably included representing a local government client in the Federal Court of Australia.
Prior to her legal career, Tyler gained management experience in the hospitality sector and undertook a legal work placement at a law firm in China.
Attracted to Kelledy Jones by its reputation for excellence, its team values and its involvement in charitable activities, Tyler has an approachable, hardworking attitude and excellent communication and analytical skills, making her an asset to our team and our clients.
Tyler is also a regular contributor to local government publications and enjoys presenting at training sessions and seminars alongside her Kelledy Jones colleagues.
On the weekend you will find Tyler at her favourite local cafe, drinking good coffee and spending time with her husband, son and fur child, Karen the sausage dog.
